Christian Ministries & Outreach

To go where we have never been, we must do what we have never done! We must CHALLENGE ourselves to: 1) DEVELOP a heart for evangelism and grow the church to the glory of God. 2) IMPROVE and enhance our stewardship to a new level pleasing to God. 3) GROW in grace through reading, studying, and meditating on the Word of God. 4) PRAY without ceasing and tarry before God at least one hour a day before God's power. 5) SERVE the Lord with gladness by edifying and loving one another through Godly fellowship. 6) WORSHIP God regularly in Spirit and in truth. 7) SEEK the needs of God's people and endeavor to meet them through vibrant and relevant ministries...I trust that every member will commit to grow and develop spiritually. It is truly our desire...My desire and prayer is that this will be the best year yet and God will get all the glory!

V.I.R.T.U.O.U.S. Women's Ministry:

VISION STATEMENT

The V.I.R.T.U.O.U.S. Women's Ministry will be a community of women, who are redeemed treasures of God, empowered by His Spirit to love one another and serve as instruments for the transformation of hearts and minds.

MISSION STATEMENT

The VWM seeks to cultivate a community of women clothed in God’s Virtues, who build intentional loving relationships with God and one another by spending time in God’s Word and living God’s Word.

VWM  SCRIPTURE

Colossians 3: 12-17  Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

GOAL

To support the spiritual and personal growth and development of women ages 14 and older at Brown chapel AME Church.
