Vision Statement

At Brown Chapel AME Church, it is our desire to be obedient to the heavenly vision and pray for spiritual power of Jesus Christ to transform the lives of broken humanity spiritually in this community.  God’s vision for our church is for us to use every available resource to expand the Kingdom of God until every soul in this community is saved and church and every earthly and spiritual need is met to the glory and honor of God.

Mission Statement

The mission of Brown Chapel is to minister to the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional and environmental needs of all people by spreading the liberating Gospel through word and deed, as we seek to save the lost, reclaim the saved, and serve the needy.

What We Believe

The Apostle's Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried.  The third day He arose from the dead; He ascended into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty:  from thence, He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.  I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Church Universal, the Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sin, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.  Amen.
