Tribute to Evangelist Darryl Dennard
Darryl Anthony Dennard was born on November 27, 1960 in Ypsilanti, Michigan, to parents Gerald (who preceded him in death) and Viola Pitts Dennard.
Darryl was raised in Inkster, Michigan. He attended Inkster Public Schools and graduated from Inkster High School.
Darryl accepted Christ as a young man and was baptized and became a faithful member of Brown Chapel AME Church in Ypsilanti.
Darryl worked for several years with the Kroger company, but was last employed by the Marriott Eastern Michigan Resort, in Ypsilanti, where he worked in housekeeping.
Darryl’s greatest love was the Lord, and he spent most of his time outside of work serving in various capacities at Brown Chapel. He served on the usher board and was a member of the MEGA Men Chorus. Being with his church family is what he loved the most. He attended and received certificates from the William Tyndale Regional Classrooms in his endeavor to show himself approved in the eyes of the Lord.
He will truly be remembered and missed by his mother, Viola; his aunt, Marie Simmons, and her children; his cousin Raymond Mullins; his sister Cheryl and her children; his sister Tracy and her children; Pastor and Mrs. Hatter, and his entire Brown Chapel church family.
