1989 ordained at St. Stephen A.M.E. Church in Detroit, MI as an itinerant Deacon in the A.M.E. Church and served until 1991 at Oak Grove A.M.E. Church in Detroit, MI as an Associate Minister and Building Program Committee Director, (arranged for a mortgage of $1.4 million)
1991 ordained at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church in Detroit, MI as an Itinerant Elder in the A.M.E. Church
